Access Control

The right people, in the right places.

Keys get copied, lost and handed around, and you never know who used them. Access control replaces them with fobs, cards, PINs and mobile credentials you can issue, restrict and cancel in seconds, with a record of every entry.

What We Install

Access systems built around how your site actually runs.

We design the credential types, locking hardware and permissions around your doors, your people and your hours, then install and configure the lot as one tidy, reliable system.

  • Single-door to multi-door access systems: from one secure office door to a fully networked building.
  • Card, fob, PIN & mobile credentials. Issue the credential that suits each person, or combine them for higher-security doors.
  • Electric strikes, magnetic locks & door hardware: commercial-grade locking matched to each door, frame and gate.
  • Time-based access schedules & user permissions. Decide exactly who gets in, through which doors, during which hours.
  • Audit trails & entry reporting: a time-stamped record of every entry, ready to review or export when you need it.

Credential Types

Choosing the right credential.

Most sites end up with a mix: fobs for staff, a PIN on the back gate, mobile credentials for contractors. Here's how the options compare, and we'll recommend the combination that suits your doors and your people.

Credential Best for Considerations
Keypads & PIN Low-cost entry on gates, back doors and lower-risk areas; shared codes for deliveries or trades. Codes can be shared or observed, so they should be changed regularly. Individual audit trails need one code per person.
Fobs & cards Everyday staff access in offices, warehouses and commercial buildings; inexpensive to issue in volume. Can be lost or lent, so cancel missing credentials promptly. Encrypted formats are worth specifying over older ones that are easier to clone.
Mobile credentials Contractors, visitors and staff across multiple sites, issued and revoked remotely with no physical handover. Relies on the user's phone being charged and carried, and suits sites where everyone has a smartphone.
Biometrics High-security doors where the credential must not be transferable: server rooms, cash offices, labs. Higher hardware cost and each user must be enrolled in person. Storing biometric data also carries privacy obligations worth planning for.

Key Capabilities

Everything keys can't do.

Entry logging & audit trails

Every entry is logged with who, where and when. Investigate an incident, confirm a contractor attended, or simply know the site was locked up.

Instant credential cancellation

A lost credential is deleted from the system instantly and a new one issued on the spot. No locksmith, no rekeying, no new keys for everyone.

Door schedules & time zones

Set access per person, per door and per time. Reception staff open the front door; only managers open the office, and only during their hours.

Multi-site management

Run every door on every site from one platform. Issue a credential once, set where and when it works, and the same rules follow it across the portfolio.

System Benefits

What changes when the keys go.

  • No rekeying, ever. A missing fob is cancelled in seconds and replaced on the spot, instead of a locksmith visit and new keys for everyone.
  • Accountability built in: every entry is time-stamped against a person, not an anonymous key that could be anyone's.
  • Access mirrors the roster. Schedules and permissions change as quickly as your staffing does, and take effect immediately.
  • Starts small, scales cleanly: a single controlled door grows into a networked building without replacing what's already installed.
  • One credential, whole system. The same fob can disarm the alarm, release the door and be verified on camera.

Common Questions

What people ask before switching from keys.

You cancel it from the system in seconds and it stops working immediately. Then we, or you, issue a replacement. Unlike a lost key, there's no locksmith call-out, no rekeying of locks and no cutting new keys for everyone else. That one scenario alone is the most common reason businesses move away from keys.

Yes. Every user or group can be given a schedule: staff during business hours, cleaners on weekday evenings only, managers around the clock. Outside their schedule, their credential simply won't open the door, and any change you make applies immediately across the system.

Absolutely. A single-door system (one reader, one electric lock and a small controller) is a cost-effective way to secure a front entry, office or server room. If you grow, the system grows with you: additional doors can be added later without starting again.

You deactivate their credential from the software the moment they finish up. No chasing returned keys and no wondering how many copies exist. The audit trail also keeps a record of exactly when and where their credential was last used, which is useful if anything needs to be followed up.
