What We Install
Complete alarm systems, built around your property.
A good alarm is more than a siren on the wall. We plan detection zones around your entry points, layout and daily routine, then install and program every component so false alarms stay rare and real events never go unnoticed.
- Full intrusion alarm systems: control panel, keypads and internal and external sirens, installed and programmed as one system.
- Motion and entry sensors. PIR detectors and door and window reed switches, including pet-friendly PIRs for homes with animals.
- Glass-break and vibration detection: coverage for windows, shopfronts and vulnerable entry points that catches an attempt, not just an entry.
- Smartphone app control and alerts. Arm, disarm and receive notifications from anywhere, on any activation.
- Takeovers and upgrades: we service, upgrade or take over existing alarm systems, often reusing sound cabling and hardware to keep costs down.
Monitoring Options
Monitored or self-monitored: what's the difference?
We install both. The right choice comes down to who you want responding when the siren sounds, what your insurer expects, and what you're comfortable paying month to month.
| Consideration | Monitored | Self-monitored |
|---|---|---|
| Who responds | A professional monitoring centre answers every activation, contacts your keyholders and can dispatch a patrol if required. | You do. Alerts come straight to your phone and you decide what happens next. |
| Alerts | The monitoring centre is notified on every event, with app notifications to you as well. | Push notifications to your phone the moment a zone activates. |
| Ongoing cost | A monthly monitoring fee. | No monitoring fee, just any communication cost, such as a 4G SIM if one is used. |
| Best for | Businesses, sites with insurance requirements, and anyone who wants a response even when they can't answer the phone. | Owner-managed properties where you're contactable and happy to respond yourself. |
Capabilities
Everything a modern alarm should do.
App control
Arm, disarm and check the status of your system from anywhere: at work, on holiday or from the couch.
Instant alerts
Push notifications, SMS or phone calls the moment a zone activates, so you know what happened and where.
Battery and tamper protection
Backup batteries keep the system running through a blackout, and tamper switches trigger if anyone interferes with it.
Zoned arming
Arm the perimeter while you're home at night, or specific areas only. The system protects you without restricting you.
Reliability
Fewer false alarms, more trust in the system.
An alarm that cries wolf ends up switched off. Whether a system earns your trust or your annoyance is decided by how it's designed, placed and commissioned, so that's where we put the effort.
- Proper zoning: detection zones planned around entry points, movement paths and how the property is used day to day.
- Pet-aware sensors. PIR detectors that ignore animals up to a specified weight, positioned so pets move freely without triggering activations.
- Considered placement: detectors kept clear of heaters, air conditioning and direct sunlight, the everyday causes of nuisance trips.
- Commissioning and testing. Every zone walk-tested and verified before handover, so the first activation you receive is a real one.
Applications
One alarm discipline. Every kind of property.
Homes and holiday properties
Family homes, holiday homes, garages and sheds: protection that fits around pets, kids and daily routines, with alerts to your phone wherever you are.
Shops, offices and warehouses
After-hours protection for stock and equipment, duress buttons for staff safety, and open/close reporting so you know exactly who armed and disarmed, and when.
Strata and multi-site operators
Common property, plant rooms and storage areas secured with consistent, centrally manageable systems across every site in the portfolio.
Before You Decide
The questions we hear before every alarm install.
A monitored system connects to a professional monitoring centre that responds to every activation: verifying the alarm, calling your contacts and dispatching a patrol if required, for a monthly fee. A self-monitored system sends alerts straight to your phone and you decide how to respond. We install both, and we'll walk you through the costs and trade-offs so you can choose what suits your property and budget.
Not with the right design. We use pet-friendly PIR sensors that ignore animals up to a specified weight, and we position and configure detectors so pets can move around freely without triggering activations. Tell us about your pets during the site assessment and we'll design the detection zones around them.
In most cases, yes. We regularly take over, service and upgrade alarm systems installed by other companies. Often the existing cabling and sensors are still in good condition, so an upgrade to a modern app-controlled panel costs far less than a full replacement. We'll assess what you have and give you honest advice on what's worth keeping.
Every system we install includes a backup battery in the control panel that keeps the alarm fully operational during a blackout, typically for several hours or more. The system also reports mains failure and low battery conditions, so you're notified before backup power becomes an issue rather than after.
